Helping Hands is a social project at Villa that aims to promote environmental changes and actions to enhance society, particularly for groups with lower socioeconomic status. Its goals include minimizing the effects of social inequality, reducing humanity’s impact on the planet, and addressing various forms of inequality.
The primary objective of this project is to encourage our community to take proactive steps in caring for the environment and promoting social improvement. By transforming the lives of socially vulnerable groups and providing support and opportunities to enhance their living conditions, Helping Hands strives to make a positive difference in our society.
Social projects play a fundamental role in the school environment, going beyond the traditional curriculum to cultivate essential values, promote active citizenship and inspire empathy among students. They not only enrich the educational experience, but also prepare students to become engaged and responsible citizens in their communities.
One of the most significant aspects of social projects at school is their impact on the formation of students’ character. By participating in initiatives aimed at community well-being, students learn values such as solidarity, collaboration and compassion. They develop a broader social awareness and a deeper understanding of the needs and challenges faced by those around them.
