The news was celebrated in grand style during the 2025 Institutional Café, held last Monday (22), at the Sesc Casa do Comércio Theater. With the theme “Childhood and Purpose”, the event moved and inspired everyone present.
On January 22, at the SESC Casa do Comércio Theater, Villa Global Education, an international curriculum school with IB certification, held its traditional Institutional Café, consolidated as the most emblematic event of the year. In a morning full of emotion, purpose and inspiration, employees, parents and partners had an unforgettable experience, reliving their childhood and their genuine soul, reinforcing Villa’s values and purpose. The event also celebrated another year of excellent academic results, highlighting Villa’s commitment to excellent education.
Connecting purpose and happiness
With the goal of deeply connecting those present to the Villa way of being, the event highlighted how the Science of Happiness, based on the pillars of Positive Psychology, permeates every aspect of Villa’s organizational culture. Under the inspiring leadership of CEO Viviane Brito and General Director Manuella de Lucca, the program brought impactful moments that showed, in practice, how the commitment to well-being and sustainable happiness is transforming the school community.
Achievements that moved and made history
During the event, the audience was surprised by some major announcements. Among them was the official opening of the Villa unit in Praia do Forte, which is now open and will begin its school year in early 2025, bringing Villa’s educational excellence to the region.
Another highlight was the confirmation that the Villa Happiness Center case study, a project that integrates Positive Psychology practices into the school’s culture, was selected for presentation at the IPPA-World Congress on Positive Psychology, in July 2025, in Australia. This is the largest scientific congress in the world on the subject, bringing together leading researchers in the field, and Villa’s selection makes the school the first Brazilian school to present its initiative at this important international meeting.
But the highlight of the celebrations was the presentation of the HCO (Happiness Certification for Organizations) seal, granted by the Happiness Studies Academy and endorsed by the renowned Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar. Villa became the first and, to date, the only organization in the world to receive this international certification in 2025, consolidating its title as the Happier Workplace. This unprecedented recognition reaffirms the school’s position as a reference in corporate happiness and transformative education.
